Wedding Rings & Jewelry Advice

Is is amazing how much time our brides are spending searching for this one-of-the-kind wedding gown.  Months.  Sometimes — years.   It is all about your engagement in Denver and your perfect Denver wedding.  Of course, department stores generally do carry wedding dresses, but who cares?  One-of-the kind Cinderella dress, according to general opinion, can be only found in a small expensive boutique store; unless you have a fairy Godmother, of course Hopefully, this store will have an unusual name and sales persons speaking with — is it? — French accent.  Ironically, this dress is destined to hit the party just once.   What about that very special engagement ring of yours?  Why do we instinctively avoid private jewelry businesses thinking that they MUST be too expensive.  Another thing — well-established giants like Zales.  Or Costco.  They SHOULD be more affordable than private Denver jewelry stores.  Is it so?  Apparently — not.  But before I’ll get to this very tricky subject of affordability, let me ask those whose “I do’s” are just around the corner.  Why do we girls prefer boutique personalized services when it comes to our wedding gowns, spending thousands of dollars on custom-made and probably–unbelievably gorgeous dress that we will wear just once?  We want our weddings special, memorable, and — yes, we deserve it all: our day –unforgettable, so that we can cherish it forever and ever.  But…your engagement rings Denver that will hopefully stay on your hand “until you know — what” — shouldn’t it be researched, searched and carefully chosen?  Of course, there are always times when people get married on the spur of the moment — great way to go!  Otherwise, many of us, heading to jewelry chain stores where some poorly- trained sales person is pushing miserably-looking guys (embarrassed and confused) into purchasing that”specially discounted” ring… while other customers are walking in or just standing near by starring.  Is it personal?  Do you get the “boutique” kind service you enjoyed while shopping for your wedding gown?  If you answer is — no, may I ask :  why?  Again, because we were told  that these local diamond businesses are bound to be prohibitively expensive.  Remember “Pretty Woman”  Here I go:  “Big mistake.  Huge!”
